Blogger embedded comments form broken

If you have been using the excellent embedded comments form feature (which is available at Blogger in Draft) you might want to check your blog...

If my experiences are anything to go by the feature has been broken since September 2008. So if you want to ensure that you don’t miss any comments on your blogs, you may want to try one of the following…

Go into Blogger in Draft and click the “Settings” tab, then go into the “Comments” section and disable “Embedded Comments.” Instead, revert back to the old pop-up or full-screen Comments options. Then save and exit Blogger in Draft.

Here is the blurb from the official Blogger “Known Issues” blog –

“If you have a customized template or have inserted some 3rd party code into your template, your embedded comment form may not appear as normal. — latest update on Friday, September 26, 2008”

Anyway, the embedded comments form is a great feature and we hope they get it sorted ASAP. Naturally I will update this post once they do.
